This Course Conclusion Paper presents as its theme "Proposal of a Building Inspection plan in accordance with Law No. 2805/2008 of the municipality of Balneário Camboriú / SC." Events such as explosions, falls and fires, involving regular and formal buildings in large urban centers, with serious consequences, reinforce the importance of discussing the relevance of planning and maintenance strategies, as well as the application of laws that require the periodic inspection of the buildings. Therefore, the question is: how is it possible to elaborate a renovation or maintenance planning for buildings based on the legal obligation based on building inspection in the urban context in the city of Balneário Camboriú / SC, taking into account Law No. 2805 / 2008? Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose the elaboration of a plan of renovation or maintenance of residential buildings in accordance with the Law 2805/2008 of Building Inspection of the municipality of Balneário Camboriú / SC, in order to verify and avoid possible anomalies, contributing to the management process. It opted for a bibliographic study, conducted using scientific articles, journals, dissertations, theses, academic papers, books, legislation, technical standards, among others. With study, it was found that a well-designed building inspection is an essential tool for any building, as it ensures the safety and quality of life and housing of residents or general users in the case of commercial buildings or service providers.
