A utilização de glass cockpit em aeronaves de pequeno porte

Resumo: | This monograph was elaborated with the general objective of analyzing the impact caused by the use of digital instruments in small aircraft in Brazil. The research is chacacterized as descriptive, with documental and bibliographic procedure, through official documents of NTSB, CENIPA and ICAO, as well as the use of books and articles for proper contextualization. The approach used was the qualitative. The analysis of data was performed through statistical data obtained during the bibliographic research and transformed into graphs, which demonstrate the real situation of the use of the digital panels in the general aviation. At the end of the monograph, it is possible to conclude that the implementation of the glass cockpit modified the aviation, but it is more dangerous than analog systems if the crew is not properly instructed in its functionalities and in its use. In Brazil, even if the system has generated some accidents, it is concluded that the main factor that caused the occurrences was the combination of the human factors in respect to the lack of correct training of the pilot and delay in the regulation of the digital systems. A pilot without adequated training and a system that provides less favorable flight conditions, such as instrument conditions, is the formula for an accident. It is therefore necessary to update the flight instruction regulations and pay particular attention to the training and transition to the digital systems. |

A pesquisa caracteriza-se como descritiva, com procedimento documental e bibliográfico, por meio de documentos oficias do NTSB, CENIPA e ICAO, assim como a utilização de livros e artigos para a devida contextualização. A abordagem utilizada foi a qualitativa. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio de dados estatísticos obtidos durante a pesquisa bibliográfica e transformados em gráficos, que demonstram a real situação da utilização dos painéis digitais na aviação geral. Ao fim da monografia, é possível concluir que a implementação do glass cockpit modificou a aviação, porém apresenta ser mais perigoso que os sistemas analógicos se a tripulação não for instruída corretamente quanto às suas funcionalidades e ao seu uso. No Brasil, mesmo que esse sistema tenha gerado alguns acidentes, conclui-se que o principal fator causador das ocorrências foi a combinação dos fatores humanos em respeito a falta de treinamento correto do piloto e atraso na regulamentação dos sistemas digitais. Um piloto sem formação adequada e um sistema que propicia o voo em condições menos favoráveis, como é o caso do voo em condições por instrumento, é a fórmula para um acidente.
