The objective of this research is to analyze whether the intermittent work contract, with discontinuous hours, can generate problems to the health of the worker as a result of the violation of the right to disconnect caused by the long hours to which the employee will be subordinated to the employers in order to achieve a decent financial life. In aiming to achieve the goal outlined, in relation to the level, the research was used in exploratory character, the qualitative approach was used, regarding the procedure used for data collection, the bibliographic was applied. Finally, it was possible to obtain as a result of this research that the implementation of this new modality of labor contract does not refer to a benefit to the worker, concluding to the end that the intermittent labor contract when it enables the worker a dignified life with financial stability, infringes the right to disconnect and causes injury to the worker's health due to overworked hours.
