Resumo: | Introduction: Neural mobilization (NM) is a technique known as an aid to relieve stresses caused by neural dysfunction. Objective: To gather information on the MN technique and its application in the treatment of pain caused by nervous system (EDEN) dysfunctions, as well as the improvement of mobility. Methods: Integrative review of experimental studies on NS. The databases used were Scielo, Science Direct, PubMed and PEDro. Articles that included the descriptor neural mobilization, in the languages Portuguese and English, and published between 2000 and 2020. Articles with repeated publications and escape from the theme were excluded. Results: Thirty-four studies on the subject were found, 8 excluded and 26 selected for analysis. among the selected studies. Of these, 6 referred to the treatment of NM to patients with low back pain, 5 revealed results of the influence of MN on the range of motion, 2 mentioned the use of this method in relation to the effects on heat and cold thresholds for asymptomatic patients, 2 on the N and, also, 2 other studies presented results of NM to patients with cervicobrachial pain. The remaining 9 studies brought to research related to NM and its influence to patients with postoperative spinal arachnoid; leprosy; osteoarthritis; joint pain; neck pain; fibromyalgia; headache; stroke patients; radiculopathy, foot pain and carpal tunnel treatment. Conclusion: Most studies have shown that NM is efficient in the treatment of the above-highlighted dysfunctions. |
