In recent years, Work Safety is becoming increasingly important in Civil Construction, due to the increase in accidents and because it is a sector of high work injury risk. Brazil ranks between the countries with highest risk of work accidents and Civil Construction is an economic activity that ranks second in fatal accidents in the country. As an attempt to reverse this situation, companies have been investing in safety trainings. In the Work Safety field there are 36 main regulatory legislations published by the Ministry of Work that must be followed by companies. The present assignment seeks to investigate the implementation of Regulatory Legislation Number 18, focused on Civil Construction and prevention of works accidents. The methodology to be used in this case of study will be qualitative through the application of a check list. The results of the survey demonstrate the compliments or not at the studied construction sites, followed by suggestions of future improvements.
