Um olhar sobre as professoras das creches de Laguna: perfil e condições de trabalho

Resumo: This dissertation had as general aim to analyze the daycare teachers profile and the conditions that they perform their work. An exploratory research was performed, a case study type. The subjects were teachers from two of the four biggest Kindergarten Centers of Laguna, and the sample was composed by ten (10) professionals. Data collection instrument used was a questionnaire with open questions. From the data analysis, two categories emerged: profile and formation of Kindergarten teachers, and their work conditions. The results were interpreted taking the professions contributions as support. The data point mainly to: the daycare teachers are formally qualified to exercise their functions; they appreciate affective relationships with children; they wish more dialogue with their pairs; and they wish training courses regarding to their daily difficulties. They understand their viewpoints are not considered by managers, and sometimes they feel undervalued. To the limitations attributed to the relationships, mostly regarding to the lack of dialogue, some problems from material field are added, such as precarious spaces for children hygiene, limited by little financial resources. Their participation to elaborate pedagogical activities is much reduced, including because the use of Sistema Positivo, which they received ready. The study suggests a democratic management to search for more dialogue and participation for all involved with the daycare.

Foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa de campo exploratória. Os sujeitos foram professoras de dois dos quatro maiores centros de Educação Infantil - CEI de Laguna, compondo-se a amostra por dez (10) profissionais. Como instrumento de coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário constituído por perguntas abertas. Da análise dos dados emergiram duas categorias: perfil e formação das professoras da creche e as condições de trabalho das professoras da creche. Os resultados foram interpretados tomando como suporte as contribuições de autores da Educação Infantil. Os dados, principalmente, apontam que: as professoras das creches são formalmente qualificadas para o exercício da função; elas prezam as relações afetivas com as crianças; desejam mais diálogos entre pares; e necessitam de cursos de formação mais relacionados as suas dificuldades cotidianas. Entendem que seus pontos de vista não são considerados pelos gestores e, em algumas ocasiões, sentem-se subvalorizadas. Aos limites atribuídos às relações, sobretudo à falta de diálogo, somam-se alguns problemas de ordem material, relacionados à precariedade de espaços de higienização das crianças, às reformas estruturais, limitadas ao pouco recurso financeiro. Sua participação na elaboração das atividades pedagógicas é muito reduzida, inclusive pelo fato de ser utilizado o Sistema Positivo, que recebem pronto.
