In view of the current Brazilian economic situation, companies generally tend to organize ways to emerge from the crisis, among which one can mention the implementation of quality standards and standards that can improve competitiveness. In the construction sector it is no different, since it is a sector with one of the largest active participations in the Brazilian GDP, and with a lot of competition, the efforts need to be greater to become competitive and meet the requirements of the market. The present work will demonstrate a proposal for the implementation of ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 and the Brazilian Habitat Quality and Productivity Program in a small construction company located in Palhoça/SC. For the development of this work we used the direct documentation technique with the applied research method, regarding the objectives the research was developed as descriptive, taking the approach of the problem as a qualitative-quantitative research. All sources of information for this course completion work were fielded by applying the case study procedure. Through this research it was observed that it is possible for a small construction company, which has nothing preestablished or mapped in its organization, to be able to implement a standard with specific requirements for the quality management system. Therefore, good planning is required in the process of implementing all regulatory requirements.
