Resumo: This research has as objective to analyze the operations and problems that air taxi companies face and the crew members working on them. The research made is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collecting resources used were from articles, regulation manuals, data from ANAC, questionnaire applied to 14 air taxi crew members and data collected from an air taxi company. With these data collected, it was analyzed the diversity of operations that these companies do and the clandestinity in this kind of service is bad for the client and other companies. The questionnaire showed that the aircraft maintenance and fatigue are the main problems that the air taxi crew encounters in their operations. With the data collected from the company used as the basis of the studies, it was observed how the annual volume of flights is high.

A pesquisa realizada é do tipo descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. Para a coleta de dados, foram usados artigos, manuais de regulamentos, dados da ANAC, questionário aplicado a 14 tripulantes de táxi-aéreo e dados de uma empresa de táxi-aéreo. Com tais dados coletados, analisou-se a diversidade de operações que essas empresas realizam e como a clandestinidade neste tipo de serviço é maléfico, tanto para o cliente quanto para as outras empresas. O questionário nos mostrou que a manutenção das aeronaves e fadiga são os principais problemas que os tripulantes de táxi-aéreo encontram em suas operações.
