The Brazilian Ministry of Labor has developed Regulatory Norms (NRs), such as labor guidelines on mandatory procedures related to health, and worker safety. Today, there are 37 Norms, which companies must respect to act within the Brazilian legality. Each NR has its own regulatory parameters, with the purpose of preventing accidents, and diseases caused by work, and serve as a manual for companies. The NR-9, studied in this academic work, refers to the Program for the Prevention of Environmental Risks (PPRA), which establishes the obligation of elaboration and implementation by all employers and institutions that admit workers as employees, aiming at the preservation of the health and the integrity of the workers, through the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and consequent control of the occurrence of existing environmental risks, or that may exist in the work environment, taking into consideration the protect ion of the environment and resources natural resources. In addition to the mandatory PPRA, organizations are becoming more aware of, and demonstrating, a satisfactory performance in terms of safety and health of their workers, as this indirectly results in greater productivity and competitiveness. This study has the general objective of developing a PPRA for an ROV Support Vessel (RSV), which operates on the Brazilian coast. The necessary information for the development of the PPRA was collected on board the vessel and subsequently analyzed. From these data were generated spreadsheets that, when analyzed, formed the basis of the data of the conclusion of this work.
