Resumo: The subject that will be addressed in this study is the fine motor development of 2 to 3 year old children. Neuropsychomotor development, responsible for learning to control the body's muscles, is characterized by motor (physical) development, affective (relationships), cognitive (thoughts and information processing) and language (communication) development. To improve the fine motor development (minor and specialized movements) of 2 and 3 year old children and prevent possible motor difficulties, a toy wasdeveloped that has the appropriate activities. This academic work justifies the choice of the subject and product, presenting the project problem and the most appropriate solution, through research methodologies and Product Design methodology. Goals were defined aiming to be fulfilled during the realization of the project and, using a theoretical basis to analyze the information obtained, concepts were generated for the generation of alternatives, so that the best one could be prototyped, altered and detailed towards manufacturing.

O desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor, responsável pelo aprendizado de controle dos músculos do corpo, é caracterizado por desenvolvimento motor (físico), desenvolvimento afetivo (relacionamentos), cognitivo (pensamentos e processamento de informações) e da linguagem (comunicação). Para aprimorar o desenvolvimento motor fino (movimentos menores e especializados) de crianças de 2 e 3 anos e prevenir possíveis dificuldades motoras finas, foi desenvolvido um brinquedo que possui atividades adequadas para isso. Este trabalho acadêmico justifica a escolha do tema e produto, apresentando o problema do projeto e a solução mais adequada, através de metodologias de pesquisa e de Design de Produto.
