The theme to be presented is related to the presence of coopetition in the internationalization of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The present work aim analyze how the coopetition strategy has been used to promote the process of internationalization of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in order to make available the knowledge to be similarly applied in the Brazilian business community. The research was carried out based on bibliographic references found in scientific databases and books available in the library of the Universidade do Sul (UNISUL) located in Tubarão, SC. For the theoretical basis was due researches theories concerning foreign trade, competitive strategies and interorganizational coopetition. An empirical case study researched on the scientific platforms of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (Capes) was due in view to purpose of verifying the co-operative implementation in true cases. As a result, eight peer-reviewed articles were analyses, in the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages, between 2010 and 2018. As a result, several models of co-competitive integrations were found in view of the creation or increase of international competitiveness. The research follows with a deductive and monographic approach, in which qualitatively approaches bibliographical studies found. For future research, it is propose the knowledge of specific barriers to Brazilian companies to search for co-competitive targeted solutions.
