Resumo: The present study is a/ qualitative and exploratory descriptive evaluation. It aims to identify the forms of prevention and promotion in mental health of workers of the Psychosocial Care Centers - CAPS in the municipality of Palhoça, Santa Catarina. To conduct the study, interviews were conducted with workers from CAPS II, CAPS and CAPS ad. As an ethical procedure, a Free and Informed Consent Form / ICF was presented to all participants. The research was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee of the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (CEP Unisul). The testimonies and observations were analyzed through the thematic analysis, which proposes to qualitatively explain how workers perceive their work environment, in this way, we sought to understand how the new work strategies used in these services affect professional practices and work relationships, and thus, know the possible risks of negative stress that may occur in the exercise of the work developed.

Visa identificar as formas de prevenção e promoção em saúde mental dos trabalhadores dos Centros de Atenção Psicossocial - CAPS do município de Palhoça, Santa Catarina. Para a realização do estudo foram realizadas entrevistas com trabalhadores dos CAPS II, CAPS i e CAPS ad. Como procedimento ético foi apresentado um Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido/TCLE a todos os participantes. A pesquisa foi submetida ao Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (CEP Unisul).
