Perfil dos processos de adoção na comarca de Laguna no período de 2014 a 2017

The present monographic research aims to trace the profile of adoptive parents in the judicial district of Laguna, Santa Catarina, from 2014 to 2017, through the process of adoption of homeless underage in the judicial district, analyzing the age of adopters, income, place of domicile, motive for adoption and other variants to understand who they are, where they come from, what the adopters do and the motive that leads them to seek adoption. It also seeks to delineate the profile that the adopters want for the adopted, analyzing if this chosen profile is related to the delay in the queue of the adoption processes. Therefore, the following research methods were adopted: as far as the approach was concerned, it was classified as quantitative, as far as the level is concerned, the research is exploratory and, with regard to the procedure adopted, it presents the documentary and bibliographic, considering that the data collection was analyzed through the processes of adoption of homeless underage in the judicial district of Laguna, Santa Catarina, from 2014 to 2017, in addition to analyzing theories, principles and information published by the Cadastro Nacional de Adoção. With this study, it was verified that, of the five analyzed processes, the majority of the adopters are married, middle class, aged between 30 (thirty) and 50 (fifty). Only in two of the five processes studied, the adopters live in the judicial district. The motive that led them to adopt, in all cases, was infertility. Regarding the profile adopted by adopters, the majority are children less than 4 (four) years old, white color, without diseases or disabilities. There were adopters enabled that took 2 (two) years, others took almost 10 (ten) years in queue to be able to adopt a child. In view of this, it can be concluded that the choice of age, preferably less than four years, and white skin color end up influencing, and much, the delay in the waiting queue in the adoption processes of that judicial district.
