Resumo: The Objective of this work is to search and identify the major contributing factors at the accidents and incidents of the instructing aviation at the state of Rio de Janeiro by the period of the years 2012 and 2016. It is an exploratory work with documentary procedures and quantitative and qualitative approach, by the review of the official data and the final reports of the accidents in the instruction aviation occurred at the period studied, books, articles and regulation of the Brazilian aviation. The presentation of the data is by statistics graphics. According to theoretical discussion, is possible to identify the leading contributing factor for the occurrences. So it make possible to propose actions to reduce this factors, based on risk management applied to aviation. At the end of this work is determined that the leading contributing factor is pilot’s judgment and is proposed an action to reduce the risk correlated to that factor.

At the end of this work is determined that the leading contributing factor is pilot’s judgment and is proposed an action to reduce the risk correlated to that factor.Este trabalho teve em seu objetivo geral pesquisar e identificar os principais fatores contribuintes nas ocorrências de acidentes, incidentes e incidentes graves na aviação de instrução do Rio de Janeiro entre os anos de 2012 e 2016. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória com procedimentos documentais de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, pela análise de dados oficiais e relatórios de ocorrências ocorridos na aviação de instrução no período estudado, livros, artigos e regulamentação aeronáutica. A apresentação dos dados foi feita na forma de gráficos estatísticos. De acordo com a fundamentação teórica foi possível identificar os fatores de maior incidência nas ocorrências, o que possibilitou a proposição de ações para a redução desses fatores com base no gerenciamento de risco aplicado à aviação.
