The objective of this monograph is to analyze the trajectory of trade unions since their emergence, the trajectory of labor rights and the effectiveness of the Consolidation of Labor Laws until the approval of Law 13467/17. The research is divided into three chapters, which are: 2 - Origin and history of the syndical system; 3 - The trade unions as a representation entity, and 4 - The role of trade unions in relation to Law 13467/17. The sub-chapters of chapter 2 will address about organization for work; the emergence of trade unions in Europe; Brazil and the industrialization process; the emergence of CLT; the concepts of employee and employer; the concept of economic group and the trade union regulation in the CLT. The sub-chapters of chapter 3 will address about the creation and registration of trade unions, the representativeness of employees and employers; the trade union structure; the protection of union leaders; union membership; the trade union contributions; federations, confederations and trade union centers. Chapter 4 will address about the role of trade unions in relation to the Law 13467/17; the trade union action in collective agreements and conventions; the trade union contribution through previous and express authorization of the employee; the formatting of the collective agreements content and the prevalence of collective agreements and conventions on the law, and the role of trade unions. This monograph summarizes the trade union's emergence and how it was developed in Brazil, specifying the administrative, political and legal issues presented in the Major Law and in the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT).
