Resumo: The continuous increase of the fleet of vehicles in the urban ways demand politics directed to efficient an urban planning and of quality, that not only takes care of the current necessities, as well as the future necessities of the population. Analyzing the crossing of the Avenues President Tancredo Neves and Expedicionário Jose Pedro Coelho, located in the city of Tubarão/SC, it was observed that the intensity of the increase of the fleet to propagate comes generating a bother for the population that uses the way daily, in such a way, bringing to tona the urban problems of infrastructure, result of the lack of a planning of urban mobility. In the present work it was analyzed, through simulations made by Anylogic software, the proposal of application of an intelligent traffic light that acts in agreement with the circumstances of the traffic in the crossing, perceiving, through sensors, in which of the ways exists bigger number of vehicles waiting the opening of the signal, allowing then a adjustment in the time of opening of the signal in the way in question, thus reducing the open assembly time in lines.

Analisando o cruzamento das Avenidas Presidente Tancredo Neves e Expedicionário José Pedro Coelho, localizado no município de Tubarão/SC, foi observado que a intensidade do aumento da frota veicular vem gerando um incômodo para a população que usa a via diariamente, desta forma, trazendo à tona os problemas urbanos de infraestrutura, resultado da falta de um planejamento de mobilidade urbana.
