Reflect on the role of the library and the librarian in the development of resources that can lower the information barriers necessary for the COVID-19 Pandemic, which affected the LGBTI+ community and made information access and use impossible. He emphasizes that these actions can cooperate for the development of Information Literacy in this group, since they are essential for skills in searching, accessing, using and analyzing information in a conscious way, learning purchase. It is an exploratory and bibliographic research with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Search the Referential Database of Articles in Journals on Information Science (BRAPCI) for published scientific articles that relate to topics involving the LGBTI + community. Emphasizes that this research is being developed within the scope of the research group Alaye - Research laboratory on anti-racist information and subject to specific information. It was concluded that libraries and librarians can cooperate to deconstruct prejudices that affect the LGBTI+ population in the evaluation and use of information, seeking to use useful information.
