Resumo: The present work aimed to offer professional training for professional education in the area of fixed prosthesis, and to address the technical and laboratorial deficiencies in making prosthetic elements, for the development and support of extension clinics and research projects of the Dental School of the Federal University of Uberlândia (FOUFU), by performing prosthetic work in the area of fixed prosthesis at the Technical Dental Prostheses Course facilities of the Technical School of Health (CTPD/ESTES). The work was performed as supervised training for the students of ESTES, who not only were qualified to make several types of prostheses through theoretical/ practical training, but also based themselves on research work. They then offered the poor community the opportunity to use these quality devices at no cost.

They then offered the poor community the opportunity to use these quality devices at no cost.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo ofertar estágio profissionalizante para a educação profissional na área de prótese fixa, bem como suprir carências relacionadas à confecção técnica e laboratorial de elementos protéticos, para o desenvolvimento e suporte de clínicas de extensão e projetos de pesquisa da Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (FOUFU), por meio da elaboração de trabalhos protéticos na área de prótese fixa nas dependências do Curso Técnico em Prótese Dentária da Escola Técnica de Saúde (CTPD/ESTES).
