Resumo: Profiling is a criminal analysis process that combines the competencies of the criminal investigator and the behavioral specialist, such as the psychologist or forensic psychiatrist, contributing to the investigation of violent crimes. It is possible that profiling may develop as a forensic science and be admitted to courts, increasing the likelihood of expert success and the strength of criminology expertise.
