Resumo: This paper analyzes the circulation of spiritists'; positions in the 2018 presidential elections in Brazil, as evidence of a broader transformation in the relationship between religion and politics in the process called mediatization of society. Historically, spiritists were based their intentions on the dualistic paradox between secularism and neutrality to elect charity as a political exercise. The circuit's environment analyzed here points to openings of this model in form of citizenship in flux. Three areas were analyzed (socio-organizational, technical-media and political-discursive) in which spiritists'; positions operate: a) attempts to political neutralization; b) expression of social spiritists'; motivations; c) openings for mediating strategies and d) openings for forward flux and progressive collective tactics, corresponding to the mediatization logics.
