"Even he’s released, Lula will never be free":: the siege of the enemy in the bolsonarist group on Telegram

Resumo: This article discusses the repercussions surrounding the release of former President Lula from prison, in an online community of Jair Bolsonaro supporters, on Telegram. In addition to the constructed senses and enemies, certain communicative patterns and the potential for radicalism existing in the group were also observed. Through content analysis, a striking narrative of indignation and non-conformity was detected involving the Supreme Court and Lula, whose images were attacked and discredited. The supporters of the group tend to use the resource of intentional misinformation, as well as offensive language to refer to and model opponents, in addition to overestimating their own power and the leader, building different ways to defeat: from animation of the militancy to requests for intervention military.

Além dos sentidos e inimigos construídos, foi observado ainda certos padrões comunicativos e o potencial para a radicalidade existente no grupo. Por meio da análise de conteúdo, foi detectada uma contundente narrativa de indignação e inconformismo envolvendo o STF e Lula, que têm suas imagens atacadas e desacreditadas.
