Entrepreneurial Education by Experience: The Case of the Entrepreneurial Arts Festival in Itabaiana

Resumo: The goal of this teaching case is to provoke learning about: a) the importance of entrepreneurial education in professional formation and in the high-level education; b) how to train educators with consciousness and sensibility in regard to the necessities and particularities of entrepreneurship; and c) how to develop a critical thinking about entrepreneurial education pedagogies. The case reports the experience of undergraduate students in Management during a course in the Federal University of Sergipe oriented to cultural entrepreneurship. The case is based on a qualitative research (interviews, observations, documents) of four courses driven by entrepreneurial education by experience during two years. Recursively, professor and students combine theory, practice and reflection, that provokes a discussion about pedagogical and experiential challenges of entrepreneurial education.

O caso retrata a experiência de estudantes de graduação em Administração ao longo de um componente curricular na Universidade Federal de Sergipe voltado para o empreendedorismo cultural. O caso é baseado em uma pesquisa qualitativa (entrevistas, observações e documentos) de quatro componentes curriculares voltados para a educação empreendedora pela experiência ao longo de dois anos. Recorrentemente, professor e estudantes combinam teoria, prática e reflexão, o que provoca uma discussão sobre os desafios pedagógicos e experiencias da educação empreendedora.
