Dock Monitoring System with Industry 4.0 Features: Case Study with an Augmented Reality Interface and IoT in a TV Factory: Caso de Estudio con una Interfaz de Realidad Aumentada e IoT en una Fábrica de Televisiones

Resumo: The constant technological advance collaborates so that different sectors of the industry can change and update themselves in the face of new market demands. Industry 4.0 has been bringing new paradigms that define how the industry should behave in this new scenario. Augmented Reality (AR) technology, as one of the pillars of the 4.0 concept, enables new ways of establishing information technology and promoting this update. Despite the great potential, there is a lack of specific studies regarding the construction of simple and effective AR interfaces. Thus, the objective of this article is to present an AR interface prototype to simplify the management of JIT (Just in Time) docks in a plant which produces televisions. For the execution of this work, the Double Diamond method was applied to understand the current state of studies on UX and UI with AR and to promote innovation in the construction of the AR interface directed to use in the industry. The results demonstrate product acceptance and simplified implementation in the management process.

La Industria 4.0 ha traído consigo nuevos paradigmas que definen cómo debe comportarse la industria en este nuevo escenario. La tecnología de Realidad Aumentada (AR), como uno de los pilares del concepto 4.0, posibilita nuevas formas de establecer las tecnologías de la información y potenciar esta actualización. A pesar del gran potencial, faltan estudios específicos sobre la construcción de interfaces AR simples y efectivas. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es presentar un prototipo de interfaz AR para simplificar la gestión de los muelles JIT (Just inTime) en una fábrica que produces televisoras. Para la ejecución de este trabajo se aplicó el método Double Diamond para comprender el estado actual de los estudios sobre UX y UI con AR y promover la innovación en la construcción de la interfaz AR dirigida al uso en la industria. Los resultados demuestran la aceptación del producto y la implementación simplificada en el proceso de gestión.O constante avanço tecnológico colabora para que diversos setores da indústria possam se modificar e se atualizar frente às novas demandas de mercado. A Indústria 4.0 vem trazendo novos paradigmas que redefinem a forma de atuar da indústria neste novo cenário. A tecnologia de Realidade Aumentada (RA), como um dos pilares do conceito 4.0, possibilita novos meios de utilizar a tecnologia da informação e promover essa atualização. Apesar do grande potencial, faltam estudos específicos a respeito da construção de interfaces RA que sejam simples e eficazes. Desta forma, o objetivo desse artigo é apresentar um protótipo de interface RA para simplificar a gestão de docas de JIT (Just in Time) em uma fábrica de televisores. Para execução deste trabalho foi aplicado o método Diamante Duplo para compreender o estado atual dos estudos sobre UX e UI com RA e promover inovação na construção da interface RA direcionada para uso na indústria.
