Resumo: | History shows us that there are many examples of humanity trying to meet its needs and solve problems through technology, using resources and knowledge to ensure its well-being. The present work intends to make a comparison between high and low technology applied in the same process of construction of wooden blades for hydrokinetic turbine, seeking to answer if it is possible to innovate using low technology? A comparative analysis will be made of the innovation with low technology, the concept of hydrokinetic turbine and the construction of its blades with high and low technology. In the analysis of examples of the manufacture of blades with high and low technology, it was found that each technology serves the consumer in a different way, the manufacture with high technology using CNC equipment, best applies to large centers, taking into account their characteristics as investment and deployment cost. For low technology, using simple woodworking tools, similar results are achieved, confirming the possibility of innovation characterized as disruptive for isolated communities, mainly promoting social development meeting the need for electricity generation. |

El presente trabajo pretende hacer una comparación entre alta y baja tecnología aplicada en un mismo proceso de construcción de álabes de madera para turbina hidrocinética, buscando responder si es posible innovar utilizando baja tecnología. Se realizará un análisis comparativo de la innovación con baja tecnología, el concepto de turbina hidrocinética y la construcción de sus palas con alta y baja tecnología. En el análisis de ejemplos de fabricación de palas con alta y baja tecnología, se encontró que cada tecnología atiende al consumidor de una manera diferente, la fabricación con alta tecnología utilizando equipos CNC, se aplica mejor a los grandes centros, teniendo en cuenta sus características. como costo de inversión y despliegue. Para baja tecnología, utilizando herramientas simples de carpintería, se obtienen resultados similares, lo que confirma la posibilidad de innovación caracterizada como disruptiva para comunidades aisladas, promoviendo principalmente el desarrollo social atendiendo la necesidad de generación de energía eléctrica.A história nos mostra que há diversos exemplos da humanidade tentando suprir suas necessidades e resolver problemas através da tecnologia, utilizando recursos e conhecimentos para garantir seu bem estar. O presente trabalho pretende fazer um comparativo entre alta e baixa tecnologia aplicada no mesmo processo de construção de pás em madeira para turbina hidrocinética, buscando responder se é possível inovar utilizando baixa tecnologia? Será feita uma análise comparativa da inovação com baixa tecnologia, conceito de turbina hidrocinética e construção de suas pás com alta e baixa tecnologia. Na análise de exemplos da fabricação das pás com alta e baixa tecnologia, constatou-se que cada tecnologia atende de forma distinta ao consumidor, a fabricação com alta tecnologia utilizando equipamentos CNC, melhor aplica-se a grandes centros, levando em conta suas características como custo de investimento e implantação.
