Resumo: The present study sought to contribute in improving the experience of the applicants in the adoption process, more specifically in the waiting period, between entering the National Register of Adoption (NRA) and the implementation of adoption itself, with the arrival of the expected child. This process has been investigated from the perspective of Design Anthropology which has the necessary means for a more in-depth research of such a complex problem.

Este proceso fue investigado desde la perspectiva del Design Anthropology, que cuenta con los medios necesarios para una investigación más profunda de un problema tan complejo.O presente estudo procurou contribuir para melhorar a experiência dos pretendentes ao processo de adoção, mais especificamente no período de espera, entre a entrada no Cadastro Nacional de Adoção (CNA) e a concretização da adoção, com a chegada do filho esperado.
