Resumo: Compiling and reviewing the findings of the research of the same name, this article is founded from three pillars: in the first, a freely inspired by interface archeology exercise, with a focus on customization in the history of personal computing. We investigate how customization options are consolidated in desktop operating systems for Macintosh. The second pillar is dedicated to the definition and exploration of the figure of the hacker, his appearance, performance, groups, ethics and classes. Finally, we explore the techniques of jailbreak, where hackers apply techniques and tools that seek to modify the structure of the iOS operating system and the interface customizations unlocked by the practice.

Investigamos cómo se consolidan las opciones de personalización en los sistemas operativos de escritorio para Macintosh. El segundo pilar está dedicado a la definición y exploración de la figura del hacker, su apariencia, desempeño, grupos, ética y clases. Finalmente, exploramos las técnicas de jailbreak, donde los hackers aplican técnicas y herramientas que buscan modificar la estructura del sistema operativo iOS y las personalizaciones de la interfaz desbloqueadas por la práctica.Compilado e revisita de descobertas da pesquisa de mesmo nome, este artigo se divide em três pilares: no primeiro, é realizado um exercício livremente inspirado na arqueologia de interface, com foco na customização na história da computação. Investigamos como as opções de customização se consolidam em sistemas operacionais desktop para Macintosh. O segundo pilar é dedicado à definição e exploração da figura do hacker, seu surgimento, atuação, grupos, ética e classes.
