Resumo: The human-computer graphical user interface project requires identify the characteristics of users. An interface that fits - considering the needs and desires of each individual user - may be more effective to their goals. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a human-computer interface that automatically adapts to the user profile. The concepts and theories involving Adaptive Interface systems were investigated, highlighting the studies in web morphing. Based on these studies, a test was developed, simulating a multimedia Learning Objects adaptive interface in order to collect data about user behavior on the interface adaptation. Analysis of the data generated results regarding the characteristics of participants as to the preferences and performance on the test. It was measured relationships between data, where the influences between the variables in the results are addressed.

Una interfaz puede ser más efectiva para cumplir sus objetivos, si se adapta a sus necesidades y deseos individualmente. En este contexto, este documento tiene como objetivo verificar la efectividad de una interfaz humano-computadora que se adapta automáticamente al perfil del usuario. Por lo tanto, se investigaron los conceptos y teorías que involucran sistemas de Interfaz Adaptativa, destacando los estudios en la transformación web. En base a estos estudios, se diseñó una prueba que simula una interfaz adaptativa Multimedia Learning Object, con el propósito de recopilar datos sobre el comportamiento de los usuarios con respecto a la adaptación de la interfaz. El análisis de datos arrojó resultados sobre las características de los participantes con respecto a las preferencias y el rendimiento de la prueba. También se midieron las relaciones entre los datos y se abordaron las influencias entre las variables en los resultados.O projeto de design de interface gráfica humano-computador demanda o conhecimento das características dos usuários. Uma interface pode ser mais eficaz para atender seus objetivos, caso se adapte, considerando as necessidades e desejos de cada usuário individualmente. Neste contexto, este trabalho tem, como objetivo, o de verificar a eficácia de uma interface humano-computador que se adapta automaticamente ao perfil do usuário. Para tanto foram investigados os conceitos e as teorias que envolvem sistemas de Interface Adaptativa, destacando os estudos em web morphing. Baseados nestes estudos foi projetado um teste simulando um Objeto de Aprendizagem multimídia de interface adaptativa, com o objetivo de coletar dados a respeito do comportamento dos usuários diante da adaptação da interface. A análise dos dados gerou resultados a respeito das características dos participantes quanto às preferências e desempenho no teste.
