Resumo: This article aims to make a brief overview of the history of filigree and its applications, from ancient times to contemporary times, based on the author’s experience, focusing on highlighting the tradition of the technique, so that it contributes to the continuity of the method. and don’t get lost in the current moments. For the development of the work, we sought to know the history of the workshops, the production process of the filigree pieces and the report of the author’s experience with the evolution of the technique and the modernity of the execution.

For the development of the work, we sought to know the history of the workshops, the production process of the filigree pieces and the report of the author’s experience with the evolution of the technique and the modernity of the execution.  Este artículo tiene como objetivo hacer un breve recorrido por la historia de la filigrana y sus aplicaciones, desde la antigüedad hasta la época contemporánea, a partir de la experiencia del autor, centrándose en resaltar la tradición de la técnica, de modo que contribuya a la continuidad de lo método. y no te pierdas en los momentos actuales. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se buscó conocer la historia de los talleres, el proceso de producción de las piezas de filigrana y el relato de la experiencia del autor con la evolución de la técnica y la modernidad de la ejecución.O presente artigo tem como objetivo fazer um breve recorte sobre a história da filigrana e suas aplicações, desde os tempos antigos até a contemporaneidade, baseado na experiência da autora, com foco em destacar a tradição da técnica, para que contribua com sua continuidade e não se perca nos momentos atuais.
