Usability factors for non-motorized transport rental applications: a literature review

Resumo: | The shortcoming in public transport services, allied with the lost time in traffic jams and the search for sustainability drives the search for alternative means of transportation. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to identify the main attributes to be implemented for the best usability of non-motorized transport rental apps — like bicycles and scooters — to, beside ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency, assist in the safety of those who use them. The methodology used was the literature review in the databases available on Portal de Periódicos Capes, as well as in the Scielo and Google Scholar databases. After conducting the research, it was possible to notice the scarcity of studies related to the topic, demonstrating that this is an area of urban mobility to be better explored. |

Entonces, el propósito de este artículo fue identificar en la literatura los principales atributos a implementar para la mejor usabilidad de las aplicaciones de alquiler de medios de transporte no motorizados — como bicicletas y scooters — para, además de garantizar su eficacia y eficiencia, ayudar en la seguridad y satisfacción de quienes los utilizan. Para lograr este objetivo, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica en las bases de datos disponibles en el Portal de Periódicos Capes, así como en las bases de datos Scielo y Google Scholar. Después de la realización de la investigación, fue posible percibir la escasez de estudios relacionados con el tema, lo que demuestra que esta es un área de la movilidad urbana para ser mejor explorada.A deficiência do atendimento de transporte público, aliado ao tempo perdido nos congestionamentos e a busca pela sustentabilidade impulsionam a procura por meios alternativos de locomoção. Objetivou-se, então, identificar na literatura os principais atributos a serem implementados para a melhor usabilidade de aplicativos de aluguel de meios de transporte não motorizados — como bicicletas e patinetes — a fim de, além de garantir a eficácia e eficiência dos mesmos, auxiliar na segurança e satisfação daqueles que os utilizam. Para atingir este objetivo, realizou-se uma revisão da literatura nas bases de dados disponíveis no Portal de Periódicos Capes, assim como nas bases Scielo e Google Scholar.
