The human-centered design and the challenges for human-computer interaction from ISO 9241-210:2019

Resumo: ISO 9241-210:2019 represents the state of the art in human-centered design approach. This article presents the results of the analysis of the changes in ISO's approach to human-centered design activities, providing subsidies to understand contemporary challenges in the field of design. In the discourse analysis of the historical series – ISO 13407:1999, ISO 9241-210:2010, and ISO 9241-210:2019 –, we concluded that there is a close relationship between the design of human-system interaction, as discussed in the document, and , respectively, the principles of human factors/ergonomics (1999), the user experience (2010) and universal design (2019). Due to accelerated social and environmental changes and constant technological advancement, the ISO standard for human-system interaction design should be understood more as a matrix than a paradigm for projects that seek alignment with the challenges that will be in the blind spot of the standard until the your next update.

Este artículo presenta el resultado del análisis de los cambios en el enfoque de ISO sobre las actividades de diseño centradas en el ser humano, proporcionando subsidios para comprender los desafíos contemporáneos en el campo del diseño. En el análisis del discurso de la serie histórica – ISO 13407:1999, ISO 9241-210:2010 e ISO 9241-210:2019 –, concluimos que existe una estrecha relación entre el diseño de la interacción hombre-sistema, tal como se aborda en el documento , y , respectivamente, los principios de factores humanos/ergonomía (1999), experiencia de usuario (2010) y diseño universal (2019). Este artigo apresenta o resultado da análise das mudanças na abordagem da ISO sobre as atividades de design centrado no ser humano, fornecendo subsídios para compreender os desafios contem-porâneos no campo do design. Na análise do discurso da série histórica – ISO 13407:1999, ISO 9241-210:2010, e ISO 9241-210:2019 –, concluímos que existe uma relação estreita entre o design da interação humano-sistema, como tra-tado no documento, e, respectivamente, os princípios dos fatores humanos/ergonomia (1999), a experiência do usuário (2010) e o design universal (2019).
