The transformation of still life into landscape in the poetry of Ferreira Gullar

Resumo: The poetry of Ferreira Gullar is a constant pursuit of the tangible and the moment lived right away. In this article, we offer an interpretation of his poem, “Bananas Podres” (1991), exploring the notion of concretude and the touch of realness. The starting point is a comparison with the genre of art, still life, rethinking it in a process of transformation: a path to become landscape. Departing from Michel Collot’s concept of landscape, we analyze the change in Ferreira Gullar’s poem as an experience of movement and affection, contrasting with the static and full of death idea of a still life.

En este artículo presentamos una lectura de su poema “Bananas podres” (1991), explorando la idea de concreción y contacto con lo real. Partimos de una comparación con el género de la pintura de naturaleza muerta, dándole un nuevo significado en un proceso de transformación: un camino hasta convertirse en paisaje. Pensando en el concepto de paisaje de Michel Collot, analizamos el cambio en el poema de Gullar como una experiencia de movimiento y afecto, contrastando con la premisa estática y llena de muerte de la naturaleza muerta.A poética de Ferreira Gullar é uma busca constante pelo tangível e pelo momento vivido agora. Neste artigo, apresentamos uma leitura de seu poema “Bananas podres” (1991), explorando a ideia de concretude e do contato com o real. Partimos de uma comparação com o gênero de pintura natureza-morta, ressignificando-o em um processo de transformação: um caminho até tornar-se paisagem.
