Resumo: | Art and science, theory and creativity are, without a doubt, ways of thinking and perceiving the world, of producing knowledge about existence, beings, languages, and life. The dialogue among them, however, is not always smooth. Considering this point, as well as the dialogic theory of language, the aim of this article is to present and discuss the incorporation of this perspective, and one of its main scholars, by fiction, by art. The delimited corpus to this study is composed of three utterances, one of them is American and two are Brazilian: Smoke, a film by Wayne Wong and Paul Auster, produced by Greg Johnson, Peter Newman, Kenzo Horikoshi e Hisami Kuroiwa (USA, 1995); Bakhtin: finalmente toda a verdade aparece!!! [Bakhtin: at Last All Truth Revealed], a chronicle produced by a Brazilian expert on Bakhtin, which was attributed to a Piotr Afasinovitch Brazinov/State University of San Petersburg (2012); and Hoje tem Bakhtin? Tem sim, senhor! [Do We Have Bakhtin Today? These utterances will be analyzed considering that, on escaping academic patterns traditionally responsible for mobilizing the thought of Bakhtin and the Circle, they project the theoretical discursivity to the aesthetic universe, confirming the hypothesis that art and science can establish unexpected and productive dialogues |

These utterances will be analyzed considering that, on escaping academic patterns traditionally responsible for mobilizing the thought of Bakhtin and the Circle, they project the theoretical discursivity to the aesthetic universe, confirming the hypothesis that art and science can establish unexpected and productive dialoguesArte e ciência, teoria e criatividade são, sem dúvida alguma, formas do pensar e perceber o mundo, de produzir conhecimento sobre a existência, os seres, as linguagens, a vida.
