Resumo: The Plan Director, in this study, focuses on a study of the relationship between urban policy, planning and sustainable tourism in Florianopolis. These relations will be covered by the forms of occupation in the city, related to urban growth and the increase of tourism spot. This study is justified by the need to examine the Plan Director as a tool of the Statute of the City and see actions that prioritize tourism, realizing what items should be improved. Therefore, the objective of this article is to analyze the Director Plan as a strategy for spatial organization and planning tour of Florianopolis. Therefore, the methodology will be an exploratory research, in order to describe the characteristics of the city and hold a bibliographic survey on the proposed topic. As a result of this search, it was observed that in the Plan Director there are few rules that limit the use and illegal occupation of land on the island of Santa Catarina and concluded that lacks legal instruments more efficient and investing in shares of supervision by the competent bodies.

El Plan Director, en esta investigación tiene como foco estudiar las relaciones entre política urbana, turismo y planificación sostenible en Florianópolis (SC). Estas relaciones serán investigadas en las formas de ocupación del municipio, relacionadas con el crecimiento urbano y el aumento de la actividad turística local. Este estudio se justifica por la necesidad de analizar el Plan Director como instrumento del Estatuto de la Ciudad y verificar acciones que den prioridad al turismo, estimando cuales los puntos que deben ser mejorados. Así siendo, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar el Plan Director como estrategia de organización espacial y planificación turística en Florianópolis. Para tanto, será utilizada una investigación exploratoria, para describir las características del municipio y realizar un relevamiento bibliográfico sobre el tema propuesto. Como resultado, se observó que, en el Plan Director existen pocas normas que limiten el uso y la ocupación ilegal del suelo en la Isla de Santa Catarina y se concluye que faltan instrumentos legales más eficaces así como invertir en acciones de control por parte de los órganos competentes.O Plano Diretor, nesta pesquisa, tem como foco um estudo das relações entre política urbana, turismo e planejamento sustentável em Florianópolis. Estas relações serão contempladas pelas formas de ocupação no município, relacionados com o crescimento urbano e o incremento da atividade turística local. Este estudo se justifica pela necessidade de analisar o Plano Diretor como instrumento do Estatuto da Cidade e verificar ações que priorizem o turismo, percebendo quais os pontos devem ser melhorados. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste artigo, é analisar o Plano Diretor como estratégia de organização espacial e planejamento turístico de Florianópolis. Para tanto, a metodologia será uma pesquisa exploratória, a fim de descrever as características do Município e realizar um levantamento bibliográfico sobre o tema proposto.
