Resumo: This article presents a retelling of theGreek Theater Festival Project, existingsince 2006 at the History program atState University of Pernambuco – CampusMata Norte, developing its legal andinstitutional foundations within BrazilianBase Nacional Comum Curricular.It presents the selection process ofstaged plays’ translations, theoreticalpedagogicalfundamentals the guide theproject, the festival’s framework andthen analyses some cases, reflecting onthe guiding ethical principles of the experience.
