Resumo: This paper aims to discuss the possibilitiesof a history of women and the familyfocused on school education. In thisregard, the text was organized into twoparts. In the first one, the main purposeis to raise historiographical questionsrelative to the sources that allow to discussthe concept of gender and a historyof women and family in Ancient Greece.In the second part, the paper displays aproposal of thematic paths and didacticinterventions that may enable teachersto reflect and structure sets of classesthat deal with the same subject and historicalproblem. Finally, according totheories recounted to the developmentof historical thinking, it is intended topresent possibilities of teaching a criticalAncient History, focused on thestresses and the dynamics of the contemporaryworld.

Na primeira, o objetivocentral é levantar questões historiográficase relativas às fontes, que permitamdiscutir o conceito de gênero e de umahistória das mulheres e da família naGrécia Antiga. Na segunda parte, o artigoapresenta uma proposta de percursostemáticos e intervenções didáticas quepermitam aos docentes refletirem e estruturaremconjuntos de aulas que tratemde uma mesma temática e problemahistórico.
