Resumo: The article aims to identify practical applicationsfor the use of the game ConnectedStories – which deals with thePortuguese maritime expansion in thefifteenth century – for teaching 4th and7th grade history. In order to achievethis goal, the methodological path wasbased on an exploratory research withthe use of bibliographic and documentalresearch, with a qualitative approach.As a result of the research, we identifiedthat some elements of the game ConnectedStories were raised that can beused for history teaching, based on theguiding objects of the National CommonCurricular Base - BNCC. We concludethen that the game in questionsought to represent the context of thetime (environmental, historical, political,basic structures, fauna and flora,among others) and thus, this can offer varied paths to be explored by theteacher, according to their planning and/ or lesson plan.
