Resumo: | This article reflects on the proposals for debates around Afro-Brazilian religions in the training of undergraduate students in History at the University of Pernambuco – Mata Norte Campus. During the debates, we present the limitations of the elaboration of curricular components that insist on Eurocentric, generalizing approaches and with a “one-way” dialogue. From the perspective of the discussions in Cultural History and its relationship with Anthropology and Pedagogy, the need for approaches that recognize the social plurality of events was highlighted, with the goal of contributing to the development of means for the Teaching of History, with the problematization of teaching materials, valuing otherness and the social place of the other |
