Resumo: In the framework of global cultural andtechnological transformations and publicpolicies generated during the first two decadesof the 2000s in Argentina, teachersincreasingly use television documentariesas their own readings and as reading objectsin classes and/or in homework to teach history.In doing so, they bring into play variousreading practices, associated with differentrepresentations of cinema in generaland documentaries in particular. They alsodisplay and combine various historiographical,pedagogical and didactic meanings intheir reading, emulating the various componentsof a class. Based on qualitative researchassociated with the interpretive paradigm,this article analyzes the particularitiesof these materials, the ways in which theyare proposed to be read, and the meaningsof these practices in middle school historyin Buenos Aires city, Argentina.

Al hacerlo, ponen en juego diversas prácticas de lecturas, asociadas con distintas representaciones sobre el cine en general y los documentales en particular. También despliegan y combinan diversos sentidos historiográficos, pedagógicos y didácticos en su lectura, emulando los diversos componentes de una clase. A partir de una investigación cualitativa asociada al paradigma interpretativo, en este artículo se analiza las particularidades de estos materiales, las maneras en que se propone su lectura y los sentidos de estas prácticas en la historia escolar en la escuela media en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Palabras clave: materiales educativos – documentales – lectura – historia escolar Práticas de leitura documental em história escolar   No marco das transformações culturais e tecnológicas globais e das políticas públicas geradas durante as duas primeiras décadas dos anos 2000 na Argentina, os professores usam cada vez mais os documentários televisivos como suas próprias leituras e como objetos de leitura nas aulas e/ou nas tarefas de casa para ensinar história. Ao fazê-lo, põem em jogo várias práticas de leitura, associadas a diferentes representações do cinema em geral e do documentário em particular. Eles também exibem e combinam vários significados historiográficos, pedagógicos e didáticos em sua leitura, emulando os vários componentes de uma aula. A partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa associada ao paradigma interpretativo, este artigo analisa as particularidades desses materiais, as formas como se propõem a lê-los e os significados dessas práticas na história do ensino médio na cidade de Buenos Aires. .
