The second decade of the international competition network: the challenges of promoting convergence in diversityA segunda década da rede internacional da concorrência: os desafios da promoção da convergência na diversidadeThe International Competition Network (ICN) was created in 2001 and enters its second decade.Initially composed by 14 competition authorities, it is nowadays composed of 126 members and itfaces different – or at least additional – challenges compared to those of its early years. In particular, the diversity of its members is an important challenge since the membership is composed ofauthorities in various moments of history, development and enforcement of competition policies. This article analyzes ICN’s new phase, addressing both its new challenges as well as Brazil’s active role within the organization.
