Through the trails of anarchist education: a panoramic balance of research in Brazil

Resumo: | The present article intends to present a partial survey of the academic production on anarchist education in Brazil since the end of the 1970s and to propose a critical balance on the research and its theoretical and methodological approaches. From the first Marxist studies linked to the history of the working class to the profusion of recent works on anarchist thought and practice in education in Brazil, we analyze the path taken by researchers and perceive the consolidation of studies in the history of anarchist education. It also presents partial results of the Research and Extension Project “The Modern School in Brazil (1900-1930): Anarchism, Unionism and Pedagogical Rationalism” linked to the State University of Paraná – Campus Apucarana. Finally, some factors that contributed to the current scenario were identified: the effort of researchers and activists in the production of studies on the subject; the expansion of access to new documentary sources possible by digitizing part of the collection of state and militant newspaper libraries and archives; the increase of space in universities for professors to guide and researchers to dedicate themselves to the theme; and the action of autonomous groups and anarchist collectives in carrying out libertarian educational projects, in the production of events, publications and content on anarchist education. |

Desde los primeros estudios marxistas vinculados a la historia de la clase obrera hasta la profusión de trabajos recientes sobre el pensamiento y la práctica anarquista en la educación en Brasil, analizamos el camino recorrido por los investigadores y percibimos la consolidación de los estudios en la historia de la educación anarquista. Presenta también resultados parciales del Proyecto de Investigación y Extensión “La Escuela Moderna en Brasil (1900-1930): Anarquismo, Sindicalismo y Racionalismo Pedagógico” vinculado a la Universidad Estadual de Paraná – Campus Apucarana. Finalmente, se identificaron algunos factores que contribuyeron al escenario actual: el esfuerzo de investigadores y activistas en la producción de estudios sobre el tema; la ampliación del acceso a nuevas fuentes documentales posible mediante la digitalización de parte de los archivos estatales y militantes; el aumento de espacio en las universidades para que profesores orienten e investigadores se dediquen al tema; y la acción de los grupos autónomos y colectivos anarquistas en la realización de proyectos educativos libertarios, en la producción de eventos, publicaciones y contenidos sobre educación anarquista.Cet article entend présenter un aperçu partiel de la production académique sur l'éducation anarchiste au Brésil depuis la fin des années 1970 et proposer une évaluation critique de la recherche et de ses approches théoriques et méthodologiques. Des premières études marxistes liées à l'histoire de la classe ouvrière à la profusion de travaux récents sur la pensée et la pratique anarchistes en éducation au Brésil, nous analysons le chemin parcouru par les chercheurs et percevons la consolidation des études en histoire de l'éducation anarchiste. Il présente également les résultats partiels du projet de recherche et de vulgarisation « L'école moderne au Brésil (1900-1930) : anarchisme, syndicalisme et rationalisme pédagogique » lié à l'Université d'État du Paraná – Campus Apucarana. Enfin, certains facteurs qui ont contribué au scénario actuel ont été identifiés : l'effort des chercheurs et des militants dans la production d'études sur le sujet ; l'élargissement de l'accès à de nouvelles sources documentaires possible par la numérisation d'une partie des archives et des archives étatiques et militantes ; l'augmentation de l'espace dans les universités pour que les professeurs guident et que les chercheurs se consacrent au thème; et l'action des groupes autonomes et des collectifs anarchistes dans la réalisation de projets éducatifs libertaires, dans la production d'événements, de publications et de contenus sur l'éducation anarchiste.O presente artigo pretende apresentar um levantamento parcial da produção acadêmica sobre educação anarquista no Brasil desde o final da década de 1970 e propor um balanço crítico sobre as pesquisas e suas abordagens teóricas e metodológicas. Dos primeiros estudos marxistas vinculados à história da classe operária até a profusão de recentes trabalhos sobre o pensamento e a prática anarquista em educação no Brasil, analisamos o percurso trilhado pelas/os pesquisadores e percebemos a consolidação dos estudos em história da educação anarquista. Apresenta ainda resultados parciais do Projeto de Pesquisa e Extensão “A Escola Moderna no Brasil (1900-1930): Anarquismo, Sindicalismo e Racionalismo Pedagógico” vinculado à Universidade Estadual do Paraná – Campus Apucarana.
