Resumo: The purpose of this paper is to analyze aspects of educational heritage in (auto)biographical narratives from manuscript journals kept by an 86-year-old woman from a rural area. Those manuscripts include their author’s account of her life until she started going to school, the architecture of said school, her first teacher, and material aspects of objects used for her primary schooling in 1940. This paper’s theory and methodology are based mainly on school culture and material culture concepts from authors such as Escolano Benito (2017), Felgueiras (2015), and others. This paper contributes to educational heritage by analyzing memories and writings preserved in those journals.

Esos manuscritos presentan relatos de la autora sobre el trayecto recorrido hacia la escuela, la arquitectura de su espacio físico, su primer profesor y la materialidad de los objetos de su escolarización primaria (1940). Las dimensiones teórico-metodológicas de la pesquisa se basan principalmente en los conceptos de cultura escolar y cultura material escolar, de acuerdo con autores como Escolano Benito (2017), Felgueiras (2015), entre otros. Así que este artículo trae contribuciones al patrimonio histórico-educativo perpetuado, en el caso de este análisis, por la memoria y por la escritura presente en los diarios estudiados.O objetivo do artigo é analisar aspectos do patrimônio histórico-educativo da narrativa (auto)biográfica escrita nos diários manuscritos por uma mulher agricultora de 86 anos de idade. Esses manuscritos trazem relatos da autora sobre o trajeto percorrido até a escola, a arquitetura do espaço físico da mesma, o seu primeiro professor e sobre a materialidade de objetos de sua escolarização primária (1940). Os aspectos teórico-metodológicos estão baseados principalmente nos conceitos de cultura escolar e cultura material escolar, ancorados em autores como Escolano Benito (2017), Felgueiras (2015), entre outros.
