Resumo: | The concern of the Colombian State for the health of the population meant configuring, since 1886, an entire apparatus of medical science that guaranteed the sustainability of a national physical force and sustained production and work capacity. This is how this state concern, regarding health, established a hygienic discourse that spread, especially during the first half of the 20th century, which was reflected in abundant literature, manuals, and compendiums, related to the obligation that Individuals had to take care of their health, that of their family and, consequently, the well-being of the country. In this way, the issues of hygiene and cleanliness began to occupy a preferential place in the school, a space where the doctor and the teacher, despite the differences, worked for the health of the schoolchildren. |

Foi assim que esta preocupação estatal, com a saúde, estabeleceu um discurso higiénico que se difundiu, especialmente durante a primeira metade do século XX, e que se reflectiu em abundante literatura, manuais e compêndios, relacionados com a obrigação que os indivíduos tinham de cuidar de a sua saúde, a da sua família e, consequentemente, o bem-estar do país. Dessa forma, as questões de higiene e limpeza passaram a ocupar um lugar preferencial na escola, espaço onde o médico e o professor, apesar das diferenças, trabalhavam pela saúde dos escolares.Le souci de l'État colombien pour la santé de la population impliquait de configurer, depuis 1886, tout un appareil de science médicale qui garantissait la durabilité d'une force physique nationale et une capacité de production et de travail soutenue. C'est ainsi que cette préoccupation étatique en matière de santé a donné naissance à un discours hygiénique qui s'est répandu, surtout au cours de la première moitié du XXe siècle, et qui s'est reflété dans une abondante littérature, manuels et recueils, liés à l'obligation des individus de prendre soin de leur santé. leur santé, celle de leur famille et, par conséquent, le bien-être du pays. Ainsi, les questions d'hygiène et de propreté ont commencé à occuper une place privilégiée dans l'école, un espace où le médecin et l'enseignant, malgré les différences, travaillaient pour la santé des écoliers.La preocupación del Estado colombiano por la salud de la población significó configurar, desde 1886, todo un aparato de la ciencia médica que garantizara la sostenibilidad de una fuerza física nacional y sustentara la producción y la capacidad de trabajo. Es así como esa preocupación estatal, en torno a la salud, estableció un discurso higiénico que se difundió, especialmente, durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, el cual se vio plasmado en abundante literatura, manuales, y compendios, relacionados con la obligación que tenían los individuos de cuidar su salud, la de su familia y por consiguiente, el bienestar del país.
