Resumo: The global pandemic of COVID-19 imposed new challenges to theteachers and students with the change of face-to-face education to virtualeducation, or synchronous virtual classrooms. The main objective of this researchwas to verify how these changes have affected, specifically, the stricto sensupostgraduate degree at the State University of the West of Paraná/ Brazil. Forthis, the descriptive methodology and a qualitative-quantitative approach,proposed to comprehend the major changes in teaching practices and teaching-learning methods. The results showed that, in students perceptions, the goodteacher is the one who value the professionals and relational skills, who instigatesdiscussion and research, involving the students in this process, throughinterdisciplinary activities related with actuality, and in resolving doubts, as inthe teacher’s adaptation to the synchronous virtual classrooms. The conclusionwas that, in students comprehensions, there is quality in education at classes andat interdisciplinary research of university courses and, this paradigmaticchanges, request committed, flexible and comprehensive professional, withscientific, pedagogical and didactic competence also through technologies. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi verificar como estasmudanças afetaram, especificamente, a pós-graduação stricto sensu daUniversidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná/ Brasil. Para isso, foi usada ametodologia descritiva, com análise quanti-qualitativa, para compreender e refletiracerca das principais mudanças nas práticas docentes e métodos de ensino-aprendizagem. Os resultados evidenciaram que, na percepção dos/as estudantes, obom/boa professor/a é aquele/a que valoriza os aspectos profissionais erelacionais, que fomenta a discussão e a pesquisa, envolvendo os/as estudantes noprocesso, por meio de atividades interdisciplinares relacionadas com a atualidadee na resolução de dúvidas, assim como a adaptação do/a docente com o modo remoto-síncrono. Conclui-se que, na compreensão dos/as estudantes, há qualidadede ensino nas aulas e na pesquisa interdisciplinar do ensino superior, e que estasmudanças paradigmáticas demandam profissionais comprometidos/as, flexíveis ecompreensivos/as, com competência científica, pedagógica e didática também pormeio das tecnologias.
