Remote Learning: an Overview of the Use of Digital Technologies from Private Universities Undergraduate Students'Perspective

Resumo: With the current scenario determining the streamlined implementation of on-line education, the effective use of digital technologies emerges as an alternative to face-to-face teaching practices. In this context, this work aims to analyze the perspectives of students regarding remote classes, how they use of digital technologies and the impacts of this use in their learning process and knowledge appropriation. For this, a group of 34 undergraduate students from private universities in Rio de Janeiro was investigated, using a quali-quantitative methodological approach. Data collection took place through the application of an on-line questionnaire. As a result of the analysis of the data collected, it was possible to draw an overview of what has been happening from this new educational contingency, showing that some of the demands were (im)posed on teachers abruptly and without prior training.Keywords: Digital technologies. En este contexto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las perspectivas de los estudiantes sobre las clases remotas, el uso de las tecnologías digitales por parte de sus docentes, por sí mismos, y también los impactos de este uso en su proceso de aprendizaje y apropiación de conocimientos. Para ello, se investigó a un grupo de 34 estudiantes de pregrado de la red privada de Río de Janeiro, utilizando un enfoque metodológico cualitativo-cuantitativo. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario en línea. Como resultado del análisis de los datos recolectados, se pudo hacer un panorama de lo que viene sucediendo a partir de esta nueva contingencia educativa, mostrando que algunas de las demandas se (im )ieron a los docentes de manera abrupta y sin formación previa.Com o cenário atual determinando a implementação aligeirada do ensino online, o uso efetivo das tecnologias digitais surge como uma alternativa às práticas pedagógicas presenciais. Neste contexto, este trabalho visa analisaras perspectivas discentes quanto às aulas remotas, a utilização das tecnologias digitais por seus professores, por si próprios e, ainda, os impactos dessa utilização em seu processo de aprendizado e apropriação de conhecimento. Para isso, foi investigado um grupo de 34 graduandos da rede privada do Rio de Janeiro, em uma abordagem metodológica quali-quantitativa. A coleta de dados se deu por meio da aplicação de um questionário online. Como resultado da análise dos dados coletados, foi possível traçar um panorama do que vem ocorrendo a partir dessa nova contingência educacional, mostrando que algumas das demandas foram (im)postas aos docentes de forma abrupta e sem formação prévia.
