Resumo: | Current analysis compared the number of deaths associated with diseases of the circulatory apparatus in Santo Antônio de Jesus (SAJ) and those of Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia (SSA). Investigation was based on census data (2005 – 2014). Results: SAJ has 90,985 residents, with 42,965 (48%) males and 48,020 (52%) females.
