Resumo: Introduction: Physical Education is very broad, in terms of content, PCNs present 3 (three) Content Blocks: games, sports, gymnastics, fights, rhythmic and expressive activities and knowledge about the body, but the reality is that Proposals exist, but not everyone realizes this inclusion in their classes. Objective: To analyze the contents of Physical Education applied in public schools is private and identify the difficulties. Material and Methods: A study was carried out with 24 Physical Education teachers from the Federal District, of both sexes, working in public and private education networks. A questionnaire was applied, containing ten questions, where nine are closed and one to be justified depending on the answer. Results: Of the contents proposed by PCNs, 31% of teachers give priority to games and knowledge about the body. What keeps them from including other content is lack of space 30% and material shortage 28%. Regarding content development, more emphasis is placed on the procedural 82%. Conclusions:The study pointed out that teachers of Physical Education, both public and private schools are aware of the content proposed by the PCNs, and that regardless of the time of experience, everyone sees much importance for the student's cognitive development in the school experience. But there is still resistance to the application of some content.

But there is still resistance to the application of some content.Introdução: A Educação Física é bem ampla, em questão de conteúdos, os PCNs apresentam 3 (três) Blocos de Conteúdos: os jogos, esportes, ginástica, lutas, atividades rítmicas e expressivas e conhecimento sobre o corpo, porém a realidade é que as propostas existem, mas nem todos realizam essa inclusão em suas aulas. Objetivo: Analisar os conteúdos da Educação Física aplicados em escolas públicas é privadas e identificar as dificuldades. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa com 24 professores de Educação Física do Distrito Federal, de ambos os sexos, atuantes nas redes de ensino público e privado. Foi aplicado um questionário, contendo dez questões, onde nove são de caráter fechado e um para ser justificada dependendo da resposta. Resultados: Dos conteúdos propostos pelos PCNs, 31% dos professores dão prioridade aos jogos e conhecimentos sobre o corpo. O que os impedem a incluir outros conteúdos é a falta de espaço 30% e escassez de material 28%. Em relação ao desenvolvimento dos conteúdos, se dá mais ênfase no procedimental 82%. Conclusão: O estudo apontou que os professores de Educação Física escolar, ambos de escolas públicas e privadas estão cientes dos conteúdos propostos pelo PCNs, e que independente do tempo de experiência, todos vêem muita importância para o desenvolvimento cognitivo do aluno na vivência escolar.
