Resumo: There are numerous proposals so-called as political reforms being processed in the Brazilian legislative houses. Those that have prospered have don't deep the mechanisms of democratic participation, looking more a reaffirmation of the formal representative democracy. This work has the scope to analyze some assumptions about the many possible forms of political reforms in Brazil , pointing to the need for further direct participation mechanisms. Furthermore, it focus on the recall institute, which arouses interest when it comes to rethink the means of direct participation in the process of formation of the political will on public decision-making.

As que têm prosperado vêm se mostrando distantes do escopo de aprofundamento dos  mecanismos  de  participação  democrática,  parecendo  mais  uma  reafirmação  dos postulados da democracia representativa formal. Este trabalho tem por escopo analisar algumas premissas acerca da(s) reforma(s) política(s) possíveis no Brasil, apontando para a necessidade de aprofundamento dos mecanismos de participação.
