Resumo: Busca-se analisar a teoria de justiça desenvolvida por John Rawls, com uma compreensão do papel da liberdade e da igualdade em suas ideias. A pesquisa consiste em investigar se a teoria de John Rawls garante a liberdade de escolha dos indivíduos, com o objetivo de responder se pode ser considerada uma solução à questão da desigualdade na distribuição dos bens sociais. A metodologia utilizada será por intermédio de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, com abordagem qualitativa.
