Resumo: Recent reforms in the civil procedural law show that the appeal system has been considered an obstacle to reasonable duration of the process. Some changes in the procedure of appeals were also introduced by the new CPC in order to achieve the effectiveness of judicial services. It turns out that procedural delays can not be credited solely to the appeal system , which is why it is clear that the amendments proposed by New CPC regarding the handling of the resources are not enough to solve the problems involving the time spent by the judiciary to meet the demands proposed.

It turns out that procedural delays can not be credited solely to the appeal system , which is why it is clear that the amendments proposed by New CPC regarding the handling of the resources are not enough to solve the problems involving the time spent by the judiciary to meet the demands proposed.
