Resumo: This article proposes to investigate the emerging discourse of "gender ideology" based on the analysis of the contents of the Educational Plans (National, State and City Plans) and specific laws, as the Law nº. 3290/205, from the city of Mossoró/RN. Even after walking gradually toward inclusion and respect for diversity in relation to gender, Brazil has been taken in the last year by a wave of political and social conservatism, which has generated important consequences to the legal system, such as the total eradication of any term that refers to gender in the National Education Plan, a phenomenon that was repeated in most States Education Plans and in the great majority of the City Plans, besides being the central idea behind city laws, which ban of discussion any issues related to gender in the citys public school system, arguing that sexuality and sex equality should not be confused with the categories of feminist gender, which have ideological content and should not be presented, not even in the context of criticism, to the students in the classroom or in extracurricular activities. To conduct this research, we begin with the context of the historical moment in which this discussion takes place; then, we will explain the succession of legal facts related to the topic, since the national vision to the local reality of the city law under discussion. In the next session, well aim to understand the development and the complexity of the idea of gender and then try to identify the discourses that produce the idea of gender ideology and the feminist approach to gender, especially from Foucault and Butler's contribution. Finally, Well point out the major discursive strategies brought by the discourse of gender ideology and submit some theoretical and practical concerns in which the acceptance of this speech can result.
